TODAY!
This is your movement — powered by people. Discover how you can take part, volunteer, or donate to help shape a fairer, more inclusive Cambridgeshire.
JOIN THE
MOVEMENT.
This is a people-powered movement, built and shaped by everyone who gets involved. We believe that real change starts with local people coming together — and that every contribution, no matter how big or small, truly matters.
There are so many ways to take part, and every one of them makes a difference. Whether you can give a little time, help spread the word, or make a donation, your involvement helps strengthen our shared voice and build momentum for change.
This movement only works because of the people who power it — people like you. However you choose to help, you’ll be part of something meaningful: a collective effort to make our communities fairer, stronger, and more connected. Every action counts, and together, we can make a real difference.
VOLUNTEER.
Everyone can help by volunteering — no contribution is too small, and every action makes a difference. You’ll find some ideas below, but there are countless ways to get involved and support our work.
Join one of our campaigns, take part in local outreach, stand with unions, or help share our message online. You might volunteer to deliver leaflets, join a canvassing team, shape campaigns and policies, or use your skills to design materials, plan events, or strengthen our communications.
There are always new ways to help — including ones we haven’t even imagined yet!
Ways You Can Help:

Development For All
From Arbury Court to Market Square the council has plans to redevelop homes, shops and public spaces. We will listen to residents and communities and fight to ensure their voices and needs come first in these changes.

Outreach
We are committed to reaching out across Cambridge, listening and learning from every community. By engaging with every neighbourhood and minority group, we ensure our party represents everyone and gives all voices a chance to be heard.

Solidarity
This autumn, workers and trade unionists across our region are preparing to strike on pay, jobs, and justice. We stand shoulder to shoulder with all causes that reflect our values — from workplace struggles to anti-racism and pro-Palestine campaigns.

Social Media
Social media is a vital tool for getting our message out. From Facebook and Instagram to TikTok, X, YouTube, and more, we need volunteers to help amplify our campaigns and connect with communities across the region.

Campaigning
We will be taking our message of hope into every area and community across our region by leafleting and door knocking, and as we move towards council elections in many parts of our region in May we will need much more of this too.

Shape Our Work
We are a fully member-led, democratic movement. When you join, you can help shape campaigns, set agendas, run events, manage social media, create content, raise funds, and take part in many other roles — all by collective decision.
If you want to get involved, email us at volunteer@independents4ypcambs.co.uk. There are countless ways to help, and we’ve only listed some of them here.
Join us, bring your energy and ideas, and be part of shaping a fairer, more inclusive Cambridgeshire. Together, we can make a real difference in our communities.
DONATE.
We rely on the generosity of our supporters to keep our movement growing. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us reach further — into every community, every workplace, and every corner of Cambridgeshire.
Your contributions go directly towards organising events, booking venues for meetings, funding social media outreach, and printing leaflets and posters to spread our message. Every pound helps us connect with more people, strengthen local campaigns, and build momentum for change.
If you’re able to support us financially, your help makes a real difference. Together, we can make sure every voice is heard and our message reaches as widely as possible.
